We have prepared this special review for you. We tell you in detail everything you need to know about the Inzer Forever belt .

Inzer powerlifting belt 10mm or 13mm?

One of the main differences between the models is the thickness. On the one hand, we have the 13mm Inzer . There are several models of the brand with similar characteristics and with this thickness. Then there's the 10mm model , which obviously offers slightly less support.

Another difference is the type of buckle. In this case, there are belts with a single prong or double prong buckle . Lever versions have also appeared . These belts are called "levers" , and they are quickly put on and off. They all have their advantages and disadvantages.

Powerlifting belt: The best materials, quality manufacturing and lever mechanism

Inzer belts are made in the USA. One of the things that makes them unique from others is that they are made from a single piece of solid leather. Cheaper gym belts are often made by gluing several thinner pieces of leather together, and are sometimes reinforced with metal rivets. In this way, it happens that over time and after continued use, the layers end up peeling off and the support of the belt is greatly reduced. Eventually there comes a point where the belt is so worn that you can no longer use it and have to replace it. With Inzer brand belts, This is not a problem anymore. The entire belt is covered with a non-slip leather cover, which can also be chosen in a wide variety of colors... The final finish of the belt has a soft but slightly rough touch, which generates enough friction so that the product do not slip or slide.

Inzer powerlifting belts  are available in a wide range of colors: black, blue, red, pink, purple, etc. This gives the belt an aesthetic plus, since it looks great. You can buy a belt to your liking in the color you like best. It's a pass!

In general, the quality in its manufacture is without a doubt excellent. The Inzer is really designed to last over time. The belt is held compact and held together by six rows of double-stitched nylon thread, which, unlike metal rivets, resist rust. The embroidery is of the highest quality, so that no thread protrudes with the risk of becoming entangled or falling apart. The holes in the strap to hook the buckles or levers have been perfectly drilled with the right space and evenly, so that they are all well aligned and there are no leather fragments in them.

Inzer Forever, powerlifting lever belt

Let's look at the Inzer toggle belt . This model has a large and heavy piece of metal that is screwed to the front of the strap. Two hooks located at the rear of the lever fit into holes drilled on the opposite side of the belt. At this point the belt stays loose, but this changes once you close the lever.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A TOGGLE OR BUCKLE POWERLIFTING BELT?

The main advantage of the lever is that it achieves a much closer fit to the lifter's body. According to the manufacturer Inzer , their powerlifting toggle belt  can be tightened up to 7.5 cm (3 inches) more than with a conventional prong buckle. We don't know if you'll be able to achieve such a fit, but we can't deny that the toggle will probably give you a much tighter fit than any other type of belt. Even "uncomfortably tight" we could say.

All belts are sold in a varied range of sizes. Each size covers up to a certain section of waist centimeters. This is something that you will have to take into account when buying your gym belt . For example, size L, according to the official Inzer powerlifting sizing , would be good for waists between 91-99 cm. However, belts can always be adjusted with a margin of several centimeters above or below the official sizes. This is great, because if you bought a size L, for example, and lost weight to a 34-inch waist, you could still adjust the belt without any problems. You have enough room to adjust it, so getting it tight will not be a problem for you.

In the case of the lever powerlifting belt , the adjustment is made by moving the lever mechanism along a series of holes that are around the belt. The lever is screwed onto a back plate inside the belt. You have to remove the screws, remove and move the mechanism, and then screw it back into place. For this, the ideal is to use a screwdriver, but even a washer of the appropriate size or a coin could do the trick. Due to this reason, the toggle beltnot the best fit if you're looking to share it with another lifter. This is because each individual has a different size and so you would have to be removing and putting the lever mechanism according to the user who uses it. We therefore recommend that you set the mechanism to the setting that is right for you and leave it as it is.

One drawback that some people might experience with the belt is the distance from top to bottom. In some people, the height between the lower rib cage and the upper pelvic area is not very great and the belt would tend to go from one end to the other, or to both at the same time. Despite this, wearing the belt is not painful at all. In fact, it is quite comfortable. Sometimes it may leave small scratches on the hips. This already depends on the particular physiology of each lifter. Most people who use the belt will not have a problem. However, we have seen fit to mention it in case you are thinking of  buying an Inzer Forever belt .

Another fact to keep in mind is that it can sometimes be difficult to remove, especially if you have worn it too tight. You'll be able to release the lever to relieve pressure on your abdomen, but then you'll need to pry the lever's tooth out of the holes on the other side of the strap to remove the belt. It's not that complicated to do, but it can take some getting used to sliding the tooth out of the hole. Don't be surprised if you have an embarrassing incident the first few times, can't get it out easily, and end up squirming like a worm to get it off. It's the rookie mistake! You have been warned ;).
